Tomorrow at midnight is our last PDC fundraising deadline before ballots go out for the November election. I’m going to ask you to help us reach our goal in a minute [[link removed]] , but I want to first explain just why this deadline is so important.

Our fundraising reports that we file after tomorrow night will be publicly available for anyone to see. They’ll indicate how prepared we are for November, and will decide how much outreach we are able to pay for, how much airtime we can afford, and how robust our voter contact operation will be overall. Given that this is the closest State Senate race in our state , we know that our opponents will be watching closely, so we need to have a strong showing on tomorrow’s report.

I’m going up against someone backed by corporate PACs and dark money groups, which means that I’m always at a disadvantage when it comes to fundraising. Plus, there’s been more money pouring into this race than any other State Senate campaign this year — just take a look at the numbers:[[link removed]]

I know that the power of our grassroots movement can overcome this. We’re still $4,112 away from our September goal, and any amount you can give will get us a little bit closer.
