Hey John – guess who’s decided to pay a visit to our beautiful state? None other than the disgraced former VP Mike Pence. He’s traveling down south to fundraise for the GOP, soliciting big money donations for extremists like Burt Jones and Brian Kemp.

Mike Pence is coming to town because Republicans are terrified that we’ll flip Georgia blue in the federal, state, and local elections. They see how successful we’ve been at building grassroots Democratic political power, so they’re calling for backup.

John , we ’ve got to keep our feet on the gas pedal. Election day is right around the corner, and this week we’re reaching a crucial end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline.

According to the AJC, Mike Pence is hosting two fundraising events in October – with tickets for both events starting at $1,000 (and rising sharply for private receptions and “other perks”). It’s clear that the GOP is focused on high-dollar contributions from their wealthy base of supporters.
