Hi, team. It’s Cat – Betty’s campaign finance director.

Every quarter, we set a budget target we need to hit in order to operate our campaign. Even before the onslaught of GOP super PAC attack ads we’re trying to beat back, this was going to be a difficult midterm election for Democrats. So, our goals are ambitious.

As a senior leader in the House Democratic Caucus, Betty is on the front lines fighting to advance President Biden’s agenda, improve the lives of all Americans, and help our Democratic allies fend off GOP challenges – across the country and right here in Minnesota.

Betty was getting out the vote with Attorney General Ellison, Lt. Governor Flanagan, and the DFLers up and down the ticket just last weekend!

Democrats have 40 days to reach the millions of Americans who are thinking about staying home on Election Day. Betty is doing her part, but we can’t keep up our critical work without you.

That’s why I’m reaching out. Our last public FEC fundraising deadline of the election is this Friday. With two days to go, we’re still trailing our goal by $22,361. 

Remember: Our fundraising totals for this final reporting period will be released to the public after Friday’s deadline. If we come up short, Republicans will think Democrats are losing steam, which could trigger even more spending against our allies!
