Wes Moore's "back of the house" visit with Gaylord workers


Maryland gubernatorial candidate Wes Moore took a "back of the house" tour at the Gaylord National Harbor convention center on Monday, meeting and talking with rank and file workers including kitchen staff. "We're so glad Wes took the time to learn more about the on-the-ground issues affecting hospitality workers," said Local 25 Executive Secretary-Treasurer Paul Schwalb. MD 5) will help launch the Maryland State and D.C. / Metro Washington Council, AFL-CIO St. Mary's Door Knocking Canvass this Saturday, October 1, at 9:30 a.m. The launch site is located at the St. Mary's Democratic Central Committee Office (464940 S. When they refused to disperse, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police shot and killed one of the workers and a battle ensued that resulted in three men dead and a number of others seriously injured - 1931
