Trader Joe’s workers in Brooklyn, New York are unionizing.

According to workers there, Trader Joe’s managers fired a Black union organizer hours after telling staff they’d learned about the unionizing efforts. This is part of what the workers call a “pattern of inappropriately targeting workers of color for discipline.”

This outrageous targeting of a Black union organizer cannot go unnoticed. Please support our strike fund, so we can help workers fight back against their corporate abusers.

All these Trader Joe’s workers want is a living wage, better healthcare and time-off policies, and clear, fair disciplinary processes.

Work full time and be able to pay rent? That’s not so much to ask — especially from a corporation with over $16 billion in annual revenue.
