Hi there, it’s Maura! I’ll keep this quick:

We have an important fundraising deadline tomorrow night and my team just told me we’re still about $7,500 shy of our goal. Every grassroots donation to our campaign adds up in a big way and will power our plans to reach hundreds of thousands of voters.

So I’m personally asking: will you chip in $5 or more, so we can reach our goal and power our people-first campaign?

We’re running a bigger campaign than we ever have before so that we can reach people in every town and city across the state, learn how we can best serve them, and move Massachusetts forward.

A campaign of this scale gets really expensive, really fast – but I believe it’s worth it if it means we’re bringing people together to build a stronger Massachusetts. If you can chip in $5, my team and I would really appreciate the support.

Thanks so much,

Maura

P.S. In case you missed it, I’ve included Jason’s original message below. I hope you take a moment to read it and see why this deadline is so important.

Hey, it’s Jason — Maura’s Campaign Manager.

I just left a meeting with our Voter Outreach Team and I have an important update to share with you. Our team has an ambitious plan to reach hundreds of thousands of voters in October by knocking on doors, making calls, and sending texts.

We’re in the final stretch of this race and every voter we can connect with gets us that much closer to electing Maura as our next Governor, but reaching voters is expensive.

To ensure our Voter Outreach Team has the budget for everything they need — from yard signs to clipboards — we have a goal of raising $11,000 before our final fundraising quarter deadline. We’ve got just over 48 hours to get there and every little bit helps, so will you chip in $10 now?

I know campaigns share fundraising goals with you a lot, but I promise that this isn’t one we just pulled out of thin air. There’s a lot of planning — and supplies — that goes into running the kind of statewide, voter outreach strategy that we need to win and move our state forward. Here are a few of the resources that your donations cover:

- FREE yard signs, so that any and all Team Healey supporters can show off their pride.
- Clipboards, pens, and flyers, so that our volunteers can share more about Maura’s winning record and bold plans with voters.
- Volunteer trainings, so Team Healey supporters can gain the skills they need to connect with voters and talk through everyday issues.

Supplies like these are what allow us to share Maura’s message with voters and defeat our opponent’s divisive campaign. Our fundraising program is how we support our volunteer team, buy ads, and make our case for Massachusetts.

The money we’re able to raise before our deadline will decide what we’re able to accomplish over the next 41 days. I know we can reach our $11,000 goal, but it’s going to take all of us banding together. So I’m asking: will you chip in $10, or whatever you can, today?
