It’s Civic Holiday season, John! 🥳
National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) is one of our favorite days of the year! Youth organizers in the Alliance Network have always dominated the voter registration game. And they showed up and showed out yet again during this year’s 10th anniversary of NVRD.
Check out what some of the Alliance Network youth organizers were up to last week. 👇🏽

Engage Miami & MOVE Texas had some fun celebrating NVRD all week long with partners Pizza to the Polls and Levi Strauss Co. on college campuses across their communities to get young people vote ready for the midterms.
Loud Light stayed busy on NVRD with League of Women Voters Kansas at their court of appeals hearing on their voter suppression lawsuit!
Forward Montana celebrated by tabling in the Billings, Missoula, Bozeman, and Kalispell communities with some awesome prize giveaways.

Campus Takeover
Campus Takeover [[link removed]] is a nationwide effort to mobilize students around elections and to create a culture of civic engagement on college campuses by facilitating celebratory events during the Civic Holidays. This year, we saw some incredibly creative, innovative, and engaging National Voter Registration Day events hosted by our Campus Takeover partners where hundreds were registered to vote.
Alliance Network orgs North Carolina Asian Americans Together, Mississippi Votes, Leaders Igniting Transformation, Asian Community Development Council, MOVE Texas, and Engage Miami joined in on the fun by hosting their own events on college campuses to get more young people in their communities registered to vote.
Here are some Campus Takeover highlights from NVRD 👇🏽

Not only are the Civic Holidays a nationwide celebration of our democracy, they’re also a reminder that we have a say in the issues that matter to us and the leaders that represent us. Our democracy truly works better when more people participate in it!
Here’s to a stronger democracy,
