Friends,

Visitors from all over the world, Americans from every corner of the country, and Minnesotans from every zip code understand the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is a special place.

From the pristine, clear waters to the unspoiled forests to its unmatched stillness and quiet, the BWCA is an irreplaceable refuge for millions. We have an obligation to protect it.

That's why I authored the Boundary Waters Wilderness Protection and Pollution Prevention Act – my bill to permanently protect the BWCA from toxic mining pollution.

We need a groundswell of support behind us to move this bill through Congress. Will you join me in protecting Minnesota's crown jewel wilderness by adding your name as a citizen co-sponsor today?

While I’m grateful the Biden administration canceled Twin Metals’ leases for sulfide-ore copper mining next to the Boundary Waters, our work is not over until our nation’s most popular wilderness is permanently protected.

We need Congressional action as bold as our wilderness is breathtaking. That’s why the Boundary Waters Wilderness Protection and Pollution Prevention Act permanently prohibits dangerous sulfide-ore mining across 234,328 acres of federal land in the BWCA’s watershed.

Friends, please join me, and together, we’ll get the job done. Add your name to become a citizen co-sponsor of my bill to permanently protect the Boundary Waters today!
