This is scary, John: Gov. Lujan Grisham's GOP opponent is allying himself with a far-right conspiracy theorist who encourages political violence:

We can't defeat Trump-style Republicans without your help: Will you donate $5 now to help Gov. Lujan Grisham reach her end-of-month goal and keep New Mexico blue?

As the GOP attempts to destroy our democracy, you need to read these latest updates:

1. Nearly one-third of Republican candidates across the country supported overturning the results of the 2020 election.

2. The Governor's GOP opponent is buddy-buddy with a far-right Republican who attended the insurrection and tried to stop the certification of the presidential election.

3. Polling shows Gov. Lujan Grisham has a narrow lead, and she needs to hit her $100,000 goal before her end-of-month deadline to defend New Mexico from the GOP.

With Republican PACs flooding Ronchetti's campaign with money, the Governor's message could be drowned out by the same hateful rhetoric that got Donald Trump elected.

So please, John, will you rush a donation of $5 – or whatever you can spare before my end-of-month deadline – to help keep these anti-democracy insurrectionists out of office and keep New Mexico blue? Your donation today could be what saves our democracy on Nov. 8.
