With Election Day just six weeks away, here are some things you should know about the state of our race:

1. North Carolina could be the ‘tipping point’ in this election. Our state could determine whether Democrats protect or Republicans flip our majorities in Congress and enact their far-right agenda, which includes passing a national abortion ban and slashing Social Security.

2. Donald Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Lauren Boebert visited our state last weekend to rally their right-wing base. Republicans know how important elections in our state are, which is why they sent the calvary in last week to spread misinformation, attack Democrats, and energize their far-right supporters.

3. We’re behind on our final end-of-quarter goal of this election. After we close the books on Friday's deadline, our fundraising numbers will go public. And with so much at stake in this election, we can’t afford to look weak and send a message to Republicans that North Carolina — and our Democratic majorities — are ripe for the taking.

So folks, will you pitch in to help us close the gap in our fundraising and hit our end-of-quarter target?
