I’m sorry.

My team and I have to send over a few more emails than normal this week, so I wanted to apologize and let you know it’s for a really important reason.

You see, Friday at midnight marks our campaign’s most important fundraising deadline of the ENTIRE campaign: our final FEC End-of-Quarter deadline.

So, before I explain any further, will you chip in $25 or whatever you can to support my Senate campaign (and help keep your inbox less cluttered)?

At the end of the week, we’ll be required to turn over a finance report to the FEC. We'll have Republicans, Democrats, independents and political pundits across the country looking to see how we stack up with far-right Senator Mike Lee.

It’s our first FEC fundraising deadline since our 1-point lead over Senator Lee turned into a 2-point deficit — and our final End-of-Quarter deadline before Utahns cast their votes this fall.

Unfortunately, that means we’ll need to send a few more emails to make sure we’re able to close the 2-to-1 spending gap Mike Lee’s campaign has opened.

But if that’s what it takes to stand up to extremism, defend American democracy and replace Mike Lee in the Senate, then I can’t be too sorry.

So please, will you chip in $25 before the emails start coming fast and furious and help Utah bring more independent leadership to Washington?
