John,

When I was growing up, my family didn't have a lot of money. My mom raised my sister and me in a small apartment, and she supported us by working as a hairdresser. After school, I'd work at her shop — sweeping the floor and washing hair. And I'd listen to women talk about their lives and their fears.

Today, women like the ones I grew up with are alarmed that far-right politicians are passing law after law to control women's bodies. They’re terrified that our Attorney General — Chris Carr — cares more about investigating miscarriages and putting doctors in jail than he does about protecting folks from crime and gun violence.

I'm thinking about these women from my childhood as Election Day approaches. I'm thinking about the women today sharing their fears with one another. I'm thinking about everyone who's felt unheard and struggled to get by. I'm thinking about everyone who is uncertain and concerned about what the future holds for our fundamental rights.

But John, we have a say in that future. Just 45 days from now, we have a chance to vote out anti-choice politicians like Chris Carr and give Georgians leaders who respect the right to privacy and the right to reproductive healthcare.

Can you donate $10 to help us win? We're approaching a major public fundraising deadline at the end of the month, and meeting our goal is critical for maintaining our momentum before Election Day.

Thank you,

Democratic State Senator Jen Jordan (pronounced Jer-Dun) has spent her legal career fighting for Georgians. Because of her real-life experience in the courtroom and out of it, Jen knows that now, more than ever, we need an Attorney General who will take a stand and fight for the rights of each and every Georgian.
