Dear John,
I hope this email finds you well, and having a great Christmas holiday season with your friends and family.
I’d like to extend you an invitation today to become one of the founding members of a new group that will stand as the defenders of liberty in Texas.
As you know, many people consider Texas to be politically “up for grabs” or a “purple state” in the next few years of elections. There are national ramifications for that, but there are also ramifications right here in Texas.
Not all states are as free as Texas. Some states have mismanaged their resources so poorly that their residents are fleeing to our great state (you know which ones I’m talking about). As a result, many of these folks think that the federal government is the answer to state-level problems.
You and I know this isn’t true. And you and I both know how crucial liberty is to the Texas way of life. Our forefathers, when their liberty was challenged, dared their opponents to “Come and Take It”. And now, we’re starting a group comprised of Texans who will do the same to anyone who challenges the freedom we enjoy.
We’re calling this group the “Come and Take It Society”. You can join by making a monthly donation to advance policies that promote liberty—whether it be lowering taxes, reducing energy regulation and keeping “green new deal” style policies out of Texas, or improving education and healthcare
Your monthly gift means that the Texas Public Policy Foundation can spend less time and money fundraising and more time researching and promoting policies to keep Texas’ economy roaring, lower your tax burden, and hold state lawmakers accountable.
If you join today as one of the founding members, I’ll send you a beautiful commemorative coin that you can carry to show your Texas pride and to signify your stand for liberty.
I’m hoping 10 new Come and Take It Society members will respond. Will you be one of them?
Make your gift here, or let me know if you have any questions:
