Happy Saturday. ☕️
Welcome to another edition of FT Now! Since this will be the last update until January 2020, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Now, for some news… President Trump had some blistering words for Nancy Pelosi on the eve of impeachment. South Dakota Gov. Trump Tells Pelosi in Blistering Letter That Dems Are "Declaring Open War on American Democracy"
What Happened:
The day before the House voted to impeach him, President Trump sent a "blistering, no-holds barred" six-page letter to the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

What Happens Next:
The Senate will supposedly take up impeachment sometime in the near future...

What Happens Next:
GOP governors like Noem will continue to focus on really issues.

What Happens Next:
One estimate put the number of undocumented immigrants in New York who will obtain driver’s licenses at 265,000. New Jersey, under Democrat Gov. Phil Murphy, also just enacted a similar law.
