Blueprint For Governing in 2023 is Rolled Out by House GOP Members Ahead of Nov. 8 Elections

The House Minority Leader, Kevin McCarthy, rolled out his plan to tackle the problems that Republicans blame on President Biden and his administration. The “Commitment to America” plan was put out ahead of the November 8 elections. It details what Republicans will do when they win back the House in November. This plan is their blueprint in governing for 2023.

Joe Biden Is the Real Semi-Fascist

President Joe Biden — in search of a new label to pin on his political opponents after the failure of his “ultra-MAGA” branding, which prompted peals of laughter rather than shudders of horror — landed on a new slur with which to tar those who don’t support his agenda: they are, he said, semi-fascists. Speaking with a crowd of Democratic donors in Maryland, Biden reportedly said, “What we’re seeing now is either the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy. It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something — it’s semi-fascism.”

Salman Rushdie, Iran and Joe Biden

In October 2018, agents of the Saudi Arabian government murdered columnist and Muslim Brotherhood fellow traveler Jamal Khashoggi in gruesome fashion. The fallout in the American media was cataclysmic for the relationship between the United States and Saudi Arabia; two years after the murder, then-candidate Joe Biden issued a statement “mourning Khashoggi’s death” and calling for reassessment of the American relationship with the Kingdom.
