The world can feel daunting, and even hopeless, sometimes. But when people come together with love and compassion, they can affect real change. Here are some examples from World Vision’s work in various communities that face serious challenges.
- 161,860 girls, 155,088 boys, 98,809 women, and 79,918 men received food assistance and cash transfers to meet the basic needs of vulnerable families.
- In Tanzania, 37 new taps were installed, so more children and their families can drink clean, disease-free water.
- In Nepal, 640 parents learned positive parenting skills, including how to discipline children without using violence. This helps protect girls and boys from abuse.
