The Washington State Parks Boating Program is hiring for two positions - details on these roles below. These recruitments are open until *October 3rd*, so be sure to submit before the deadline!

Fiscal Analyst 3

As our new *Fiscal Analyst 3*, you will serve as the financial program manager for the Boating and Winter Recreation programs. This position is shared with 75% of duties dedicated to the Boating Program and 25% dedicated to the Winter Recreation Program.

You are the hub and leader for all budgetary matters, including financial aspects of grants and contracts. This position serves as a consultant to the Boating and Winter Recreation Program Managers on all matters with fiscal impact.

Management Analyst 5

As our new *Management Analyst 5*, you will analyze all Boating Program data and policies to identify opportunities for improvement. You will identify, consult with and advise program leadership on gaps and service improvement to offer our customers equal access to our services. You will also serve as the subject matter expert and will work with program staff to understand system deficiencies and enhancements.

Additionally, you will collect and analyze data to assist in programmatic decision making and create technical training resources to ensure staff are maintaining compliance.

The Washington State Parks Boating Program administers several programs to keep boaters safe and informed of applicable regulations.

In addition to Recreational Boating Safety, the Boating Program trains and certifies Marine Law Enforcement programs across the state and administers the Clean Vessel Act to fund pumpout stations that keep Washington waters clean.
