You may not have seen this, but our extreme opponent, Derrick Van Orden, rejected our formal debate challenge because he doesn’t trust *checks notes* anyone in the media to host a formal debate.

What’s much more likely, though, is that he knows what our internal polling proves: the more Wisconsinites learn about him… the less they like him.

Yes, we know we have a path to victory, and it’s simply sharing Van Orden’s very own record on abortion, health care, and his involvement with the violent insurrection on January 6th and ties to conspiracy communities.

But with Van Orden rejecting our request for a debate, it’s up to us to share that info with voters through ads on TV, online, and on the radio… and these become expensive FAST.

For your awareness, we challenged Van Orden to not just one but THREE debates across the district in La Crosse, Eau Claire, and Stevens Point. We also accepted an offer from the University of Wisconsin to debate on campus.

As Brad put it:

"Anything short of a full acceptance of this challenge means that Derrick is either incapable of engaging in a candid and frank conversation about real solutions to voters' real concerns, or he is too afraid of me and the voters of this district to risk a transparent and public event"
