We’re 2.5 million members strong. And with your help, we’ll keep fighting to ensure reproductive freedom for all.

NARAL Pro-Choice America This year, NARAL celebrated our 50th anniversary. 50 years of organizing. 50 years of mobilizing. 50 years of fighting like hell for reproductive freedom. 2019 was no exception. Image: a changing gif featuring photos of NARAL members through history at protests and marches. We organized to #STOPTHEBANS. When extremist lawmakers introduced dozens of abortion bans to criminalize abortion and punish women, we led a coalition to host more than 500 events in all 50 states to defend reproductive freedom and demand politicians #StopTheBans. Image: Two NARAL activists wearing purple tee shirts and holding signs that say STOP BANNING ABORTION and Pro-Freedom Pro-Justice Pro-Choice slogans stand in front of a crowd. The Supreme Court is in the background with a blue and pink sky. WE TOOK ACTION — AND WON! Across the country, we called for action in statehouses, and NARAL members hosted action hours, attended rallies, contacted their legislators — all part of our work to help score major victories for reproductive freedom in: New York. Rhode Island. Maine. Illinois. Washington. Our battle-born, feminist strong members organized to pass the Trust Nevada Women Act to repeal laws criminalizing abortion. NARAL Pro-Choice America Southwest Regional Director, Caroline Mello Roberson, looks on while holding her child who is wearing a ruffly gray dress. We launched our #ReclaimGeorgia campaign to hold legislators accountable for their votes against reproductive freedom. And we fought alongside a broad coalition to expand access to abortion at the state’s public universities with the CA College Student Right to Access Act. One is holding a sign shaped like a peach that says NO ABORTION BAN. WE ELECTED CHAMPIONS FOR REPRODUCTIVE FREEDOM. In Kentucky, we DEFEATED anti-choice extremist Governor Matt Bevin and replaced him with NARAL-endorsed Andy Beshear. We FLIPPED BOTH CHAMBERS of the Virginia legislature to pro-choice control. Doubling our organizing team. Hosting EIGHT presidential town halls. Endorsing 100+ candidates. We were made for this moment. We're 2.5 MILLION MEMBERS strong. And with your help, we'll keep fighting to ensure reproductive freedom for all. DONATE NOW.
