Friend,

I’m going to start off with the good news. Right now, Democrats' odds are looking pretty good in November. We’re outperforming 2020 results in special elections across the country, polls are consistently showing that Democrats are more enthusiastic about voting on Election Day, and we’re seeing models with Democrats picking up seats in the Senate and a near toss-up in the House.

That’s a huge shift. Especially when we consider where Democrats stood at the beginning of the year.  We owe a lot of this new energy due to the Dobbs decision in August, but we should also appreciate the work President Biden was able to accomplish over the summer. There’s a model for how to turn around political fortunes. If you pass legislation that tangibly improves the country, voters will respond.

Now, Election Day is not tomorrow and Democrats are by no means coasting to an easy victory here. But we’ve got the momentum and The Lincoln Project is making sure we keep it. Pitch in today to support our efforts. <[link removed]>

The rest of this email is not bad news – it’s just an accurate reflection of the work that we still have to do. There are 32 toss-up races in the House and extremist candidates like Doug Mastriano are still polling within the margin of error. That means as outrageous and unfit as the ultra-MAGA is to many Americans, we still need to turn out more voters between now and Election Day.

This is why The Lincoln Project and The Union are so important right now. Americans are consistently saying that democracy is the top issue facing our country. There's a good reason why this issue is polling so high with voters right now. 60% of them will have an election denier on their ballot in November. Americans don’t want crazies like Kristina Karamo or Mark Finchem managing their elections. And they don’t really trust the party that’s nominating them to office in the first place.

That means this election is shaping up to be a matchup between the pro-democracy coalition and those who want to end free and fair elections for good. That is a matchup that we can win. The Lincoln Project has been beating the pro-democracy drum since Trump launched MAGA. That’s why I joined the movement and that is why you’re reading this email right now.

No political organization is more equipped for this political moment than The Lincoln Project. We’re targeting the right voters with the right messages between now and Election Day, but we need your help to continue doing it.Donate to The Lincoln Project today and let’s go win in November. <[link removed]>

Thanks for reading, Friend. And thank you for all you are doing to support our pro-democracy movement.
