John,

You read that right: in just a little over a month and a half, voters will head to the polls and decide who will represent us on the DC Council. We are knocking on doors, making calls, and delivering our message across the city every day. And in case you missed it, people have taken notice: Greater Greater Washington endorsed Kenyan last week (more about that below). And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

But we need your help. You can ensure Kenyan continues to represent us as our next At-Large Councilmember. Kenyan has the track record and knows just how to make our city safer, expand affordable housing opportunities, reduce homelessness and make DC a place every resident is proud to call home.

Knock on doors with Kenyan this weekend!

It’s going to be a beautiful weekend in DC. Are you free to knock on doors with us? We are out walking on Saturday at 10 AM and 1 PM and Sunday at 1 PM. RSVP to [email protected] to join Kenyan and help us talk to voters in every part of the city!

Can’t make it out this weekend but want to join us another time? Sign up here and we’ll find a time that works for you. This people-powered campaign and the outcome of the election will depend on supporters like you. We will have opportunities to canvass, phonebank and text supporters, and attend events throughout the week, every week until election day.

Host a Meet and Greet for Kenyan

Residents are opening up their homes and hosting Kenyan for Meet and Greets every week. Want to host a Meet and Greet? Sign up here and the campaign will follow up to connect with you. Kenyan is bringing this campaign to living rooms and small businesses in every corner of the city.

Kenyan will also be at the Palisades Farmers Market this Sunday, September 25 at 10:30 AM. Stop by and have a chat with Kenyan on a lovely Sunday morning. Bring a friend or two!

Board of Elections Debate

Join us this Wednesday at 7 PM for the DC Board of Elections Debate. Kenyan will be discussing his vision for a safer and more affordable District that helps everyone. Click here to go to the debate website.

Yard Signs are In!

Would you like a yard sign delivered to your home? We’ll have them planted in your yard or in your window as soon as they arrive. And for those interested in helping us get them to neighbors and senior citizens, email us at [email protected] to help us deliver them to homes across all eight wards.

Campaign Updates

Kenyan recently received the endorsement of Greater Greater Washington this past week. We are so thankful for the support of a group that shares our vision to make the District more inclusive and diverse, where all people can choose to live in walkable urban neighborhoods.

Our first campaign video!

Did you catch our campaign ad last week? Kenyan discusses how growing up in his childhood neighborhood in Northeast DC, Stronghold, inspired him to answer the call to public service.

Keep up with Kenyan

We have a lot of ways to stay connected with the campaign. Please take a moment and:
