Just a couple of months ago, Pennsylvania lawmakers voted to take the first step to ban abortion in Pennsylvania. Those lawmakers are overwhelmingly male, white, and well-off — i.e., not the people whose lives would be affected by an abortion ban in Pennsylvania.

And if we don’t secure Democratic majorities next session, we’ll see this anti-choice legislation move forward.

With reproductive rights in the hands of the PA House and Senate, it’s more important than ever that we elect pro-choice leaders to office. But the truth is, winning takes money and votes.
