Pre-impeachment remarks on House Floor show his ineptitude

Dear Friends,

Can you believe Rep. Ben Ray Lujan?

In case you missed it, right before he voted to impeach President Trump Wednesday night, Lujan had the nerve to get on the Floor of the U.S. House of Representatives and tell members that Congress should be working on issues that impact constituents--he says he must address poverty, child hunger and lack of healthcare in his home state of New Mexico.

WHAT?!

Then why haven't you done anything about it? How do you justify that you want to do something--mmmm...so you're saying you've done nothing. And now you want New Mexicans to elevate you to the exclusive club called the U.S. Senate? DISGRACEFUL! Rep. Lujan is simply unfit to serve in Washington.

This is why we must all work hard to change the complexion of our Congressional delegation. Those efforts must come at the local, county and state level in 2020 so we can send people to Washington who not only say they care about their District's constituents but will actually do something. We must all work together to get Republicans in the House and Senate so issues will be solved and our values will be upheld.

New Mexico cannot be embarrassed on the House Floor like that again.
