Today is National Voter Registration Day, John! 

It’s time to confirm you’re registered and that your registration is up-to-date.

We can’t overstate how essential elections are to our work. So much of the tremendous progress we’ve made–like restricting high-capacity magazines and protecting our Capitol and election locations from armed intimidation–has only been possible because we first elected candidates who are dedicated to prioritizing gun responsibility. 

The stakes are high for this year’s midterm elections. The results will determine whether we keep gun responsibility majorities in Congress and control of state governments across the country. So here’s what you can do:

• First, check your registration or find out how to register at vote.gov.
• Then, sign our pledge to be a gun responsibility voter! 

We can’t afford to take these elections for granted because we can’t afford to press pause on gun violence prevention. Lives depend on it.
