7 weeks! That’s all that remains between now and Election Day.
While some states allow you to register all the way up to, and including, Election Day, others such as Texas cut off voter registration 30 days beforehand. That means, in some cases, we have less than 3 weeks to help folks register to vote!
Tomorrow is National Voter Registration Day―a critical day to remind millions of people across the country to register before the fast-approaching midterm elections. CHN is collaborating with allies on the ground in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Texas and Wisconsin to help turn out low-income, Black, brown, LGBTQ+, and other marginalized communities―and make sure folks have what they need to overcome voter suppression laws.
Since the 2020 presidential election, 19 states have passed voter suppression laws meant to disenfranchise low-income communities and communities of color. We’re fighting back!
