Friend, We are excited to announce a new way you can support our work, just a few cents at a time. You can now sign up to support the SPLC with round-up donations linked to your credit or debit card. Once you’ve registered your card, each transaction you make will be automatically “rounded up” to the next dollar – and the spare change will be used to further the SPLC’s mission. We know from experience that even small gifts can have an enormous cumulative impact. Our work is a movement – and every cent counts in the fight against hate! We know that traditional donation methods, like one-time gifts or monthly pledges, are not always a good fit for every person who’d like to support the work of the SPLC. That’s why we’re so excited about introducing round-ups and welcoming more supporters into the SPLC community. The process is simple: After registering your credit or debit card, you’ll get to set your monthly cap – the maximum monthly amount you wish to donate to the SPLC using round-up transactions (so you don’t get a surprisingly large bill after a high-spending month). Then, every time you make a purchase with your registered card, the transaction will be rounded up to the next dollar and the spare change will be donated to the SPLC. There are other special benefits to being a round-up supporter as well. We’ll send you periodic updates showing the impact of your support on our work, as well as text message notifications, reminders and thank yous!
