John, My family and I were excited to watch the Chiefs get a hard-fought win on Thursday night, but we’ve been less excited by the rising costs of our favorite game-day foods. Hot dogs: ⬆️18.3% Chips: ⬆️16.7% Chicken: ⬆️16.6% Ground beef: ⬆️7.8% Rising prices affect everyone. From friends or neighbors having to pay more for their gameday tailgates to single parents who are having to cut back on how many groceries they can afford. With a new report out this week showing that inflation is not slowing down, KS-03 deserves a representative with a real plan to get our economy back on track. My Plan to Tackle Inflation Time and time again, voters tell me that their family has had to pay more for gas, groceries, and utility bills this year just to receive the same goods and services. In fact, the average family in Kansas will pay an additional $8,666 this year because of inflation. The madness must stop. This week, I introduced my plan to fight the inflation coming from Washington. My plan is simple: make Congress abide by the same principles that guide the fiscal responsibility of our Kansas families We need to get our bugdet back to a surplus. This starts by cracking down on wasteful discretionary spending by getting rid of cumbersome regulations and eliminating funding for bad spending measures such as the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act.” Read the full plan at [link removed]. Republican Jewish Coalition Endorsement I’m proud to have received the endorsement of the Republican Jewish Coalition this week! I will ALWAYS stand up against the radical left’s attacks on Israel. I’m also proud to support the RJC’s goal of returning to strength abroad. The Biden administration has shown incompetence and weakness when dealing with foreign affairs. Our world deserves a United States that is strong.
