Ever since I decided to run for the U.S Senate last fall, my wife Emily and our five kids have been by my side every step of the way.

It hasn’t been easy, but they’ve encouraged, supported, and inspired me to keep pushing, even when the pundits and so-called experts counted us out. And now our cross-partisan movement is leading Mike Lee by 1 point in the polls!

Helping raise a family while running for office has made the challenges facing our country feel even more personal — because I’m caring for and interacting with our next generation on a daily basis here at home.
