Dear John,
Today marks the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, and here in Broward County, we have so much to celebrate.
I was born and raised in Broward County, and I’ve seen the impact our Hispanic community has had — making Broward a stronger, more vibrant, and more welcoming place for all of us.
I’m incredibly proud to represent one of Florida’s most diverse districts in the State Senate. And I’m proud of all that we’ve been able to accomplish together to uplift and empower our Hispanic community.
Our diversity is our strength, and Hispanic Heritage Month is our opportunity to recognize and celebrate the contributions, culture, and history of our Hispanic community.
I’m looking forward to this month’s celebrations — and to continuing the fight for our shared values on the campaign trail and in Tallahassee.
I hope you’ll join me in this important celebration over the next month.
