Our race just landed in the national spotlight.

Yesterday, MSNBC's Morning Joe covered Will's campaign to flip the 41st District. They used our race as a prime example of a district that Democrats can win with a well-funded communications effort. According to the study they cited, voters in our district back Rollins over Calvert by a 2-point margin, but only if we have the resources.

The Morning Joe panel describes our race as critical in Democrats’ efforts to keep House control. Our race is one of the most winnable in the country, but our challenge – according to the study – will be “shifting donor focus to our race.”

Calvert has had 30 years to build relationships with the special interests in Washington propping up his campaign. So far, he’s raised almost twice as much as we have. We’re working hard to stay competitive on TV and digital platforms, but it’s expensive, and we need additional resources to stay up on the air.

Thousands of grassroots supporters have chipped in to help Will flip this seat. We’re hoping thousands more will heed MSNBC’s advice and direct resources here to maximize their impact! Will you chip in $3 right now to our communications fund?
