Hi there — Sorry to pop in your inbox again this afternoon, but this is important, and I wanted to take a moment to reach out.

Yesterday, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham introduced a bill to ban abortion access nationwide. It’s absolutely outrageous. It’s extreme. And if passed, it would mark a significant step back in our progress for women's rights and endanger the health and safety of thousands.

Thankfully, our Democratic majorities will prevent this legislation from being passed for the time being. But make no mistake, if Republicans reclaim the majorities, they’ll do whatever it takes to get this across the finish line.

And don’t take just my word on it, Lindsey Graham said it himself: “If we take back the House and the Senate, I can assure you we’ll have a vote on our bill.”

We must make sure that doesn’t happen. The people of North Carolina elected me to stand up for reproductive rights, and I want you to know without a doubt that I will not give up and I will not back down from this fight — and I’m asking you to stand with me.
