Every day when I wake up and see the Rivanna River flowing by my home in Virginia, I’m grateful for the work of American Rivers – and for supporters like you.

I believe clean water and healthy rivers are vital to all living things. That’s why I support American Rivers and serve as board chair: because this is the organization that is tackling some of the biggest challenges of our time.

With climate change bringing more severe floods and droughts, with pollution threatening drinking water sources, and with ongoing attacks from the Trump administration on critical river protections, there has never been a more urgent time to stand up for rivers.
