BREAKING: Today, a national abortion ban was introduced in the Senate by extremist lawmakers in Congress that would make most abortions after 15 weeks illegal.

This is the most extreme and far-reaching attempt we’ve seen to restrict our reproductive rights since Roe v. Wade was overturned, made even more frightening by the fact we are no longer protected by Roe’s precedent.

Team, let’s be clear: this legislation is a perfect distillation of the tidal wave of anti-choice action — a purely partisan, vindictive act against the millions of Americans who rely on reproductive care — but most importantly, we’re seeing in real time that extremists trying to push forced birth is a losing position.

American voters have REJECTED these bans and restrictions over and over and OVER again. The pro-choice majority — that believes in and advocates for safe and accessible reproductive care — is called the “majority” for a reason. This is the will of the people. We have proof! We saw it in Kansas, when voters shut down an anti-abortion measure at the ballot box. THAT is the will of the people!!
