Hi, my wife, Anna, surprised me this morning with the birthday card she asked you to sign, and wow… thanks so much.

It really means a lot.

Thank you for everything you’ve done for Team Stein. Whether you’ve chipped in, added your name to one of our petitions, or spread the word about the work we do to your friends and family, having you on our team means so much to me.

Time and again, I’ve seen that we make more progress together than on our own. Growing up, my parents always underscored to me the importance of service, community, and patriotism. And in the AG’s Office, these same values have guided our work. Together, we’ve overcome tough challenges, and we’re working hard to ensure progress, justice, opportunity and equality for everyone.

Although we still face many challenges – and opportunities – ahead, I know that this grassroots team is up to the task. From Brasstown to Hickory, and Chapel Hill to Manteo, people are coming together to grow our movement and build a state where everyone can thrive – not just the fortunate few.

So again, I want to thank you for your well wishes and for being such a dedicated member of our team. Your kindness does not go unnoticed, and I can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together next.
