News from Rep. Chip Roy

Dear Mr. xxxxxx,

As I prepare to return to Washington after another busy week in Texas, I wanted to pass along my latest update on what I have been doing to fight for you, Texas’ 21st Congressional district, and our country as a whole:

My pledge to TX-21 constituents:

On Thursday, I released my Stand Up for America pledge to the people of Texas' 21st district. It includes fighting to freeze federal spending, restore a government that works for the American people, and pass an agenda to stand up for America.

Congress must enact policies that secure our southern border, ensure responsible spending, unleash American energy, establish healthcare freedom, support our law enforcement, and restore a strong military, among many others.

Successful tele-townhall:

I had a blast at Thursday's tele-townhall with my constituents! We discussed how I spent my August recess back in Texas, and what Congress can do to best serve you. It was great to hear your thoughts on education freedom, tax reform, how we can protect America from foreign adversaries, and much more.

Over three thousand of you tuned in! Remember, you can share your ideas, ask questions, and connect with me and my staff anytime by clicking here.

A special birthday gift for one great patriot:

Please join me in wishing a very happy 100th birthday to WWII veteran Bill Cordes! Bill served in the 88th Infantry Blue Devils and fought the Nazis all the way through Italy.

I was honored to help this patriot get a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol to mark his latest milestone!

Equipping staff to serve toxic-exposed veterans

On Thursday, I led 44 of my House Republican colleagues in requesting the VA provide a briefing for Members' constituent services staff on the PACT Act’s implementation - which expands VA health benefits to millions of veterans.

My office stands ready to assist impacted veterans in Texas' 21st district as they navigate the PACT Act's consequential changes to the VA and their overall care.

Celebrating the Constitution and two young scholars:

I am very proud of two young constituents of mine, Nathan Copeland from San Antonio and Carson Collins from Austin, who won Constituting America's We The Future Contest and traveled to DC earlier this summer!

Carson won for "Best Essay on Film" - an impressive work: The U.S. Constitution, Guarantor of Liberty, and Nathan won for best STEM project - he created a great website.

Fighting for the American people:

Thursday evening, my friend Rep. Jim Jordan and I joined Laura Ingraham on FOX News. We discussed how Republicans must earn the American people's trust and defend them against federal tyranny.

Want to help serve the 21st District?
