UNCOVERING THE MYSTERY OF THE LYNDHURST GARDEN FILM
This Historic Site in Tarrytown, New York, is primarily known for its 1838
Gothic Revival mansion, but the picturesque landscape surrounding it also has a
rich history. Lyndhurst staff are restoring the grounds in part with the aid of
an unassuming reel of 16mm film that surfaced in the property’s archives.
