John, the House recently passed the Respect for Marriage Act, a bill that would protect same-sex marriage in the event that the extremist Supreme Court overturns Obergefell. But, the bill still hasn’t passed the Senate.

We must act now to ensure that same-sex couples retain the same rights as everybody else. John, sign our petition to tell the Senate to codify marriage equality today →

In his concurring opinion on the decision to overturn Roe, Justice Clarence Thomas wrote that the Supreme Court “should reconsider” its decisions in landmark cases that protect fundamental rights such as same-sex marriage, contraception, and more. That’s why it is more important than ever to codify such basic rights as marriage equality into law.

Across the country, far-right Republicans are doing everything they can to roll back our progress and the rights that we hold dear — and my opponent, Chris Carr, has refused to publicly commit to defending same-sex marriage here in Georgia.

Let me be clear: I will always fight to ensure that no loving couple is denied the dignity and equal protections that are afforded to everyone else. And right now, that means adding my voice to urge immediate federal action to codify same-sex marriage.

So John, will you join me? Click here to tell the Senate to pass the Respect for Marriage Act now →

Thank you,
