Friend, a majority of the House of Representatives just demonstrated that no President is above the law. They approved two articles of impeachment against Donald Trump for his attempted extortion of Ukraine and his obstruction of Congress.

But Roger Williams chose to ignore clear evidence of abuses of power, and instead took a blindly partisan vote to protect Trump at the expense of his duty to this country. Yet again, he's toed the line that his party bosses want, and he has put the president’s corrupt interests before the people of Texas and the Constitution.

We deserve better.
