Dear John,

I’m reaching out to you today to ask if you’ll take a stand with me for our rights and our democracy. But first, I want to share a bit about myself.

I’m the son of two educators. I’m a veteran. I’m a former Georgia legislator and current Congressman in the U.S. House.

Throughout my life, the common thread has been a commitment to public service.

While representing Georgia’s 2nd Congressional District, I have worked tirelessly to fight and deliver for Middle and Southwest Georgia. I have stood steadfast in my support for working families, our rights, and making progress on issues like inflation, gun violence, and access to better opportunities no matter your zip code.

But Republicans are trying to stop me, flip my seat, and take back the U.S. House. They want to roll back the progress we’ve made, infringe on our rights, and play party politics.
