John, did you know that our organization was inspired by Bernie Sanders’ 2016 run for President?

After the campaign ended, a few staffers decided to continue the work to fight to elect progressives by launching Justice Democrats. For a team with a small budget, we’ve had quite an impact in the last few years:

→ We recruited AOC, Cori Bush, and Jamaal Bowman to run and helped their campaigns win in competitive primary elections against entrenched incumbents.

→ This cycle we’ve helped Greg Casar and Summer Lee win their primary elections and now they’re on their way to the General Election in November.

We reject all corporate PAC contributions because we’re fighting everyday to end corporate influence in Washington and elect progressive fighters who are a part of the communities they’re representing.

The cold hard truth is that there’s no one waiting in the wings to do this work if we don’t do it together. If people don’t give, our progressive movement could be locked out of power for decades to come. So whether you give some of your time, talents, and/or financial contributions, it really makes a big difference.

John, our work is year-round, candidate recruiting and campaign planning is a massive undertaking — especially when we’re going up against entrenched incumbents with millions of dollars in the bank.
