With two months left until the November election, we just got some great news... Michigan's Promote the Vote 2022 ballot initiative is officially on the ballot!

In case you didn't know, the ballot status of Promote the Vote was left imperil after anti-democratic appointees to the State's Board of Canvassers refused to certify hundreds of thousands of signatures in support of this initiative. Fortunately, the Michigan Supreme Court stepped in to protect the voting rights of Michiganders by allowing the initiative to appear on this November's ballot.

This gives Michiganders a chance to weigh in on a wide-ranging proposal that would establish a minimum of nine days of early voting, require state funding for absentee ballot postage and drop boxes and codify existing voter ID rules along other pro-voting measures!
