John, Since June, the American people have watched the Jan 6th committee detail their case for how Donald Trump worked to overturn the 2020 presidential election. This critical news about Trump’s attack on our democracy was widely seen by millions of Americans in huge part because both the first and last hearings were aired during prime time when many Americans are more likely to tune in. The problem is that out of the 8 hearings already held, the 6 that didn’t air during prime time had half the viewership of the 2 that were on prime time TV. So, with the promise of more hearings later in September, we’re joining a massive coalition of progressive partners to demand that these hearings be aired in prime time, for every American to see.
