All across the country, working families and people serve as the backbone of our communities. And labor unions have been hard at work, fortifying the path towards just and equitable labor conditions and practices.
It's thanks to supporters like you that we've been able to grow our grassroots community and continue building our momentum — but we still have a lot of work to do. Please chip in to help us continue fighting for working families and people in NY-16 and communities that look like ours.
We're proud to be endorsed by unions like the Communications Workers of America and UFCW Local 1500, progressive groups like the Working Families Party, and many others as we work towards this future together. As a progressive movement, it's our job to continue uplifting and supporting all parts of the labor movement as we fight to ensure that all people have access to the resources and opportunities they deserve.
The Biden Administration has sought to ensure that workers across America are federally supported as they work to provide for themselves and their families. Through fighting for the American Rescue Plan to direct relief, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Plan to maximize union jobs, and the Inflation Reduction Act — we're seeing in real time what it means to bring true legislative change to our society.
If we keep the House and Senate in Democratic control this November, we could pass the PRO Act and greatly strengthen the power of unions to improve wages and conditions for working people. Reelecting Jamaal will be key to that effort.
Together, we're shaping the future and our democracy to one that works for us all and not just the privileged few and we can't do that alone. John, please support Jamaal and our movement as we continue to fight for working people and grow a movement that leads with compassion.
