Happy Labor day! I know for many of us, today is a day off from work, but I want to take a moment to reflect on the real meaning of this holiday.

Today is a day for us to celebrate all the workers and entrepreneurs who keep our community moving forward. They're the backbone of our economy, and it’s essential we support them and their families.
It’s up to us to continue the fight to improve the lives of workers in Miami-Dade. When workers thrive, our community thrives. And our workers deserve better.

As your next State Senator, I’m committed to fighting for workers, working families, and small businesses by lowering costs of housing, insurance, and utility bills, as well as fighting for more access to high-quality, affordable healthcare.

It’s a priority of mine to ensure that Miami-Dade families have the support they need to be successful and safe.
