John, today is a day to honor the achievements of the labor movement and to recommit ourselves to supporting workers day in and day out.

I am firmly committed to supporting our workers by fighting for them to receive a living wage, paid family and medical leave, strong collective bargaining rights, and more.

I was raised by a single mother, and I had to work three jobs to get through college. I learned the importance of hard work from a young age, and I learned that for those without money or connections, it can be hard to get ahead. That’s why I have fought for these principles in the Georgia Senate and why I plan to establish a worker's protection division in the Attorney General’s office. I want Georgia to be the best state to do business in — and the best state in which to be a worker.

Working Georgians need a voice in a statewide office, and I could not be prouder to be running to represent them. John, will you pitch in $10 to help my people-powered campaign prepare for the final stretch of the election cycle? You can click here to donate: [link removed]

I wish all of you a safe and relaxing Labor Day – a day we gratefully owe to workers.

Thank you,

Jen

Democratic State Senator Jen Jordan (pronounced Jer-Dun) has spent her legal career fighting for Georgians. Because of her real-life experience in the courtroom and out of it, Jen knows that now, more than ever, we need an Attorney General who will take a stand and fight for the rights of each and every Georgian.
