Mark your calendar, John: We're officially less than 70 days out from Election Day.

This November, I'm up against a Trump-style Republican who denies basic climate science, refuses to condemn white supremacist groups, and wants to ban abortion. And now, national Republicans are POURING donations into his campaign to send New Mexico back to the Stone Age.

This race is far too close for comfort, John. FiveThirtyEight reported that this governorship is one of the most likely to flip red. And after my opponent outraised me by $450,000, a new poll shows me with a NARROW 4-point lead.

That’s why I’m coming to you today, urgently asking for your help. I’ve set a goal of raising $25,000 before midnight tonight to ensure we have the critical resources to hold the line and defeat the GOP.

I am so proud of all I’ve accomplished in my first term as Governor, from legalizing cannabis to raising the minimum wage. But if Mark Ronchetti replaces me, he won’t hesitate to erase our hard-earned accomplishments, and institute his extremist conservative platform instead.

As New Mexico’s – and our nation’s – first Democratic Hispanic woman to serve as Governor, I am determined to make sure this never becomes a reality. But I can’t do that without an immediate surge of grassroots support.
