As I'm sure you know, 2022 is Born Free's Year of the Lion,  in memory of our fearless Co-Founder, my late father, Bill Travers MBE. This special year features our tireless work to protect lions and all wild animals, and our efforts to promote compassionate conservation, all part of his incredible legacy. This year has been very special and personal to me. I know my Dad would have been proud of what we have achieved in his memory and would, without doubt, thank you, as do I, for all your support in helping Born Free deliver a better future.

PS You won’t be surprised to learn that I have left something to Born Free in my Will, and I have asked for a permanent memory to be created by placing an ‘In Memorium’ plaque on one of our animal rescue sanctuaries/education centres. This is something Born Free can do for anyone who wishes.
