John, Wow! It’s hard to believe that tomorrow is Labor Day! If you and your family don’t already have plans to join us on your day off, please sign up to walk with my campaign in the Louisburg Labor Day parade. Join us in Louisburg tomorrow! Check out what we’ve been up to this week! Border Trip This week, I had the opportunity to visit McAllen, Texas for a chance to get a firsthand look at the crisis unfolding on our Southern border. Here’s what I learned: We are facing a massive humanitarian crisis. Women and children are dying every single day while attempting to cross the border because human trafficking has become a billion-dollar business. Drugs are flowing across the border and into our country at a record rate. Overdoses, including fentanyl overdoses, are up 54% in Kansas because Joe Biden and Sharice Davids have failed to secure the border. Democrats in Washington have done absolutely nothing. Our border patrol agents need help, but Sharice Davids continues to ignore the border crisis. I released my own plan to secure the Southern border in May. Read it at www.amandaadkins.com/defending-security-advancing-workforce/. New TV Ad We’re up on TV with another ad calling out Sharice Davids' failures. “Sick” highlights how Sharice Davids has brought us rising prices across the board by voting with Joe Biden 100% of the time. Inflation is hurting families and seniors, especially when it comes to their medical bills. Check it out below! KCMO Talk Radio I joined Pete Mundo on Thursday morning to share some of the stories I heard while visiting the Southern border. Click here to listen! Calling All Volunteers! My team is out every day knocking doors and talking to voters in KS-03. Please join us on a Saturday or Sunday to knock doors for a few hours! We also need help each week in the office making phone calls. Contact my volunteer coordinator Becca for more information, locations, and to sign up: [email protected] or text or call (913) 269-8317.
