We’ve had a busy summer and we want to thank you for showing up every step of the way. Together, we made some real progress in the fight to end gun violence. Before we take a look back — can you chip in $3 to help fuel or work?

CHIP IN $3

June 11 - We marched along with thousands of people around the world demanding that our elected officials take action to end gun violence after the school shooting at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas, where 21 innocent lives were stolen. This was our largest march since our founding in 2018. 
 
June 12 - Just one day after we marched, Senator Chris Murphy announced a bipartisan gun reform package with the support of 10 Republicans. 
 
June 25 - After passing through the Senate and House of Representatives, President Biden signed the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act into law, making this the first piece of federal gun safety legislation passed in almost two decades.
 
July 29 - After months of organizers, activists, and survivors advocating for an assault weapons ban, the House of Representatives passed the Assault Weapons Ban bill, moving it one step forward to being reinstated since it expired in 2004.
 
August 30 - President Biden reaffirmed his commitment to ban assault weapons during a speech in Pennsylvania this past week. 

These last three months have been filled with wins for our movement, but we know we can’t stop now or let our elected officials become complacent. We have more momentum to ban assault weapons than ever before. 

We need to keep up the rallies, showing up at our elected officials’ offices, and organizing online and offline – can you chip in $3 to help us continue this work past this summer?
