As North Dakota’s students head back to the classroom, another pain of inflation is hitting  Americans: the cost of school supplies has risen sharply.

We need to buy glue, pens, notebooks, backpacks, and sneakers for our kids, and when the cost of all those things rises, it gets harder for parents to get students the supplies they need to learn.

The reason you and I are paying more and more just to make sure our kids have school supplies is that Democrats have rammed through massive spending packages throughout President Biden’s term. The only way to get inflation back under control is to roll back this runaway spending.

President Biden and Democrats in Congress are too beholden to their big-government, big spending ideology to ever cut spending, or even stop trying to spend more.
